Content:

• 50% Cedar Grove Compost screened to 7/16" and 50% sand.
• No animal waste, sludge or other amendments are added.
• Bulk product screened to 7/16 inch.

Uses:

• New Lawns - Recommended for installation of new lawn including hydro seeding, and raised beds.
• New Planting Areas - New planting areas perform well with Cedar Grove's Two-way Topsoil. Installed to a depth of 6-12 inches, Two-way Topsoil provides the organic matter and nutrients as well as the minerals and soil new plants and bulbs need to get established.
• Landscaping - Improves poor quality native soil for landscaping purposes or to increase grade level.
• Add Nutrients - The sand provides necessary drainage and the compost provides organic matter, nutrients and microbial diversity. Compost also releases nitrogen to plants.
• Reduce Water Consumption - Compost increases soil water holding capacity so that less irrigation is required.

How Much Do I Need?

• One (1) Cubic foot will cover Four square feet, 3 inches deep.
• Five (5) Cubic yards will cover 550 sq ft, 3 inches deep.

This product is made from recycled green waste and food waste. Cedar Grove's manufacturing process involves minimizing, screening, and removing inert particles and pieces that are commonly found in commercially composted feedstocks. Some level of inert material may still be present in this product after it is cleaned and processed. These materials will not harm your plants, vegetables or landscape.
