Acceptable Materials
Green waste-vegetation-comprised largely of organic wastes such as leaves, weeds, and lawn and shrub clippings, resulting from upkeep of yards, gardens, lawns, parks, and other areas. Green waste may also include natural wood and pruning.
Land clearing vegetation -stumps, tree trunks, branches, leaves, woody pruning and other woody vegetation, and dirt resulting from land clearing activities and other activities such as landscape maintenance.
Paper and cardboard
Clean woodwaste- unpainted and unpreserved lumber and woodwaste, particleboard, plywood, and pallets
Pre-consumer vegetative foodwaste, including grain and coffee grounds.
Unacceptable Materials
Dairy waste, biosolids, biosolids derived products, gypsum waste, gypsum waste paper, animal manure, fertilizer, demolition debris, painted wood, preserved wood, stained wood, waterproofed wood, creosote treated wood, chemically contaminated wood, plastic laminate, vactor wastes, sewage, septage, hazardous wastes, and contaminated soils.
